Teen Arrested For Raping 3-Year Old
Lincoln County Sheriff's deputies arrested a teenager Tuesday on a first-degree statutory rape charge after they say he assaulted a 3-year-old girl.
Sheriff's officials say the incident happened Saturday when the suspect, Daniel Lopez Alonzo, was watching the girl while her parents were out of the house, according to a release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. The mother had gone to a neighbor's house for about 15 minutes and her father had gone to the store when the alleged assault happened.
The girl was taken to Lincoln Medical Center where she was treated and examined, the release stated.
Alonzo, who is a neighbor of the victim's family, has no prior convictions on these types of charges, Lincoln County Sheriff's First Sgt. Tim Johnson said. He is being held on $50,000 bond, the release stated.
