And The Point Is??
Perhaps I have completely missed the point of the "Political" debate between Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Columbia University, but I cannot in all honesty understand the relevance of it at all.
Had Columbia University been a privately funded University rather than partially funded by the United States government, perhaps the whole scenario with Ahmadinejad would have been less dramatic. However, the obvious clash between our country and this political figure, better known as the "Worlds Most Prominent Sponsor Of Terror", bares distinct resemblance of a certain hypocrisy.
How much did it really cost the taxpayers of this nation to host this Jihadist buffoon that spit nothing but lies and incoherent rhetoric with every question that was directed at him? The president of Iran is a charismatic demon that goes against everything this nation was founded upon, i.e., freedom, democracy, and the pursuit of happiness. Actually, I could basically toss a few more political buddies of the world in the fence with Mahmoud, but I'll save that for another time.
And all of this media cackle about his "Homosexuality" comments! What in the world does Homosexuality have to do with the political climate? Unless, perhaps, that our nation treats this social sickness more like an ethnic/ERA issue, passing designer laws to protect, allowing them the priviledge to serve in our Armed Forces and fight our wars, and above all, corrupts our youth. Our Constitution is vulgarily handed over on to them on a lace-trimmed pink platter?
"Flash From The Past"! Not so long ago, this country experienced a tragedy post 911 with Katrina destroying much of the gulf coast of the United States. A region that played host to numerous gambling casino's, the well known "Girls Gone Wild".
Katrina arrived with precision timing, occurring at a time when the highly celebrated, infamous "Gay Event" known as Southern Decadence was scheduled to take place as usually scheduled, from August 31 to September 5 and had become a Labor Day tradition in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
Promotional materials about the "Gay Mardi Gras" claimed it would host more than 100,000 mostly gay and lesbian participants and generate more than $100 million in tourist dollars.
Was this "Divine Providence"? In the Holy Bible, the book of Luke, Chapter 21 talks about "the sea and the waves roaring" and "men's hearts failing them for fear". It goes on to say "When these things begin to happen, look up and know your redemption draws nigh". We cannot understand world events without the proper interpretation of Bible prophecy. As much as the bible has suffered throughout time, by the contaminated "Hand Of Man", the truth somehow, just as the bodies of the good and the bad in New Orleans, manages to float to the top.
Does History repeat itself? Consider the story of Lot and his wife, the pillar of salt, so mentioned in the book of Genesis.
The story goes that the Almighty God was fed up with the sinfulness of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and we all know from the earlier accounts in Genesis, how he can express his anger with his creation, in the world.
Abraham, just like any normal family member, was concerned for his nephew Lot and family who lived in that sinful place. He mustered up the courage and had a meeting with God, persuading him to save Lot and his family before the destruction of the cities.
God sends his messengers, Angels, on a special reconnaisance mission to retrieve Lot & Company from the impending doom that was nothing short of a nuclear explosion. When the messengers arrived, they were greeted by none other than, the Sodom Decadence Greeting Committee, supposedly, and the rest of the story is history.

"A dense column of smoke rose rapidly, a cloud rained burning sulfur, the surrounding soil was turned into sulfur and salt so that not even a blade of grass could grow there, and anyone in the vicinity turned to salt" sounds like a nuclear blast.
If the pillars of salt at the end of the Dead Sea (which are still there today) were ordinary salt, they would have disappeared with the periodic rains. Instead, these pillars are of a special, harder salt, only created in a nuclear reaction such as an atomic explosion.
Another look at Deuteronomy 32:32-33: "Their vine grows from the vine of Sodom, from the vineyards of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poison, and their clusters are bitter. Their wine is the venom of snakes, the deadly poison of vipers." Radioactive plants are known to be dangerous to eat.
As a veteran of both the US Army and US Navy, I can truthfully say that the only Homosexuals that I ever encountered throughout my miltary involvement were a couple of gay guys based at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital Corps School, who were dynamite hairdressers!
So this Gay Army, Navy etc, just doesn't work with me at all! But on the other hand, what better place for a gay person to be than the "M-I-L-I-T-A-R-Y"? Perhaps we should bring all of our heterosexual son's and daughters home from the war and open the draft for all of those that want to "Come Out and be recognized for their chosen lifestyle"!

You could actually get arrested and confined to jail for Homosexuality. It was called "Crime Against Nature". The mere suggestion that Gay's should have rights during the 60's and 70's would have been horrific, if not humorous.
CNN, Fox, and every other news source imaginable has whipped this "Homo-Horse" to death! For the record, there are *Gay* George's, Ahmeds, Miriam's, Akbar's, Conchita's, Pedro's, Brunhilde's, Jacques all over the world, affecting all races, creeds and colors. It is by all definitions, a spreading disease that crawled sickly out of the proverbial closet decades ago and rather than treating it, we allowed it to grow, multiply and now it is a world-wide infectious epidemic, attacking everything from our government, every social class all the way down to our precious children, now, infecting our education system at the primary level.
This was not intended to be a gay bashing editorial, however, after hearing the word "Homosexual" in context with the President of Iran's visit to Columbia University, broadcasted over and over throughout the news media, I felt compelled, out of frustration and disgust, to write due to the seriousness of this escalating problem and the attention it receives from the accursed media.
The problem of Homosexuality in our country grows worse on a daily basis...and someone has to care. According to sources, politicians are caught soliciting in male restrooms, and not only are they at large, but still in the public eye and remain employed by the Government, receiving their normal wages. Hello?
Parents accept this lewd, immoral behavior, declaring love for their gender- displaced children, rather than showing "tough" love, getting them the needed therapeutic/psychiatric help needed, which in essence, also escalates the problem. As long as they accept it, they are condoning it....no decent parent would want this lifestyle for their children.
Personally, if you are gay or lesbian, that's your prerogative, just don't expect me to accept or respect your lifestyle. Do not attempt to pass your views or indoctrinate others that are heterosexual. Don't go into the public schools and pass immoral values and corruption on to school age children and I speak not only to those groups but as well as the organizations i.e., NEA that allow this bizarre behavior. This in my opinion, is no different than allowing militant jihadists to enter into our public school systems to teach of their ways, and try to convert Christians to Islam. No difference at all...
My children are grown and out of school, yet, I have two grandchildren that are elementary students. So for me, this situation is a crucial problem, and I really impress upon parents to examine what is being taught to your children in the public school systems throughout our country. When we compromise that, we compromise the family unit. Furthermore, Holy Scripture, as well as nature affirms the sexual ethic for mankind. The true, complete physical expression of love between a man and woman results in life-giving procreation, as required by the scriptures.
As much as Ahmadinejad is a mad-man, cruel dictator and sub-human species, if anything at all was to be gained by this "Circus of Horrors", perhaps it drew attention to the seriousness of this problem in our country.
